SnowCap serves people who currently live east of 82nd and within Multnomah County.
SnowCap's Food Pantry is OPEN and Ready to Serve!
- Distributing pre-packed boxes and as much fresh/frozen food as possible.
- Food is being given outside of our front doors. Please dress according to the weather.
- Cannot make it in? You may ask a friend, family member, neighbor, social worker or family advocate to come in on your behalf. You can click here for a printable form.

- SnowCap's Clothing Program is OPEN by appointment ONLY. To request a Clothing Closet appointment CLICK here. Please fill out the form; once you finish you will receive a text message to confirm the time and date of your appointment.
- Currently, you are welcome to come to SnowCap's pantry up to two (2) times a month through December, 2024.

Good Neighbor Day (Formerly Community Basket)Good Neighbor Day, a type of gleaning program, distributes boxes on the 2nd Thursday of each month at SnowCap between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. Participants receive a variety of foods. If you would like to participate in this program, please bring your Link2Feed number and bags/boxes to carry your items home in. If you are new to SnowCap, we will get you signed up onsite.

Community GardenLow income families can raise their own vegetables in raised beds full of good planting mix. Water, greenhouse space and gardening classes are provided. Gardeners give back by giving 10% of their harvest to the pantry.

Monthly Senior Home-DeliveriesWe're always looking for folks who would like to volunteer to deliver pre-packed food boxes and fresh produce to home-bound seniors once a month. Please contact Nate Larsen, Volunteer Coordinator, [email protected] for details!

Clothes for the Whole FamilyOur Clothing Program is open but only by appointment. To request a Clothing Program appointment, CLICK here. Once you complete the form, you will receive a text message with your appointment time and date. If you have any questions, please call 503-674-8785. You will be eligible to visit the Clothing Program once a month.

Can I get help with diapers and formula? Yes.
We have formula available for babies 12 months and younger. Diapers are currently available in the baby's first two years of life at our Food Panty.
What do I need to bring to get assistance? Be in need of food. Live or stay East of 82nd Avenue and visit our location during pantry hours.
Can you help with rent, moving expenses and gas vouchers? No.
We do not have the budget for these expenses. Please call 211 at (503) 222-5555 for possible suggestions.
Can you help with prescriptions? Sometimes.
We have a very limited budget for prescriptions. Call our office for more information at (503) 674-8785.
Can you help me with utilities? Please visit www.snowcap.org/energy.
Limited funding is available during some months of the year, and this page will be updated.
I am looking for work; can you help with professional clothes (or any adult clothes)? Our Clothing closet is open by appointment only; you are welcome to request an appointment. To request an appointment click here.
