Mobile Food Pantry

SnowCap brings food to low income schools and apartment complexes to reach children whose families are unable to get to our shopping style pantry.  These food boxes are convenient, but not nearly as good as shopping for your own food at the pantry.

Good Neighbor Day (Formerly Community Basket)

Good Neighbor Day, a type of gleaning program, distributes boxes on the 2nd Thursday of each month at SnowCap between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m.  Participants receive a variety of foods.   If you would like to participate in this program, please bring your Link2Feed number  and bags/boxes to carry your items home in.

Community Garden

Low income families can raise their own vegetables in raised beds full of good planting mix.  Water, greenhouse space and gardening classes are provided. Gardeners give back by giving 10% of their harvest to the pantry.

Monthly Senior Home-Deliveries

We're always looking for folks who would like to volunteer to deliver pre-packed food boxes and fresh produce to home-bound seniors once a month.  Please contact Nate Larsen, Volunteer Coordinator, nate@snowcap.org for details!
