NOTARY SERVICES AVAILABLE:
Notary services by advance appointment for current clients or special circumstances. ID REQUIRED: ID can be expired up to 3 years before the date of notarization. ID means: • A U.S. passport or officially recognized passport of a foreign country. • A driver’s license or ID card issued by any state. • United States military ID card; ID card issued by a federally recognized Indian tribe; or a document issued by the federal, state, county, or local govt. Good Neighbor Day (Formerly Community Basket)Good Neighbor Day, a type of gleaning program, distributes boxes on the 2nd Thursday of each month at SnowCap between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m. Participants receive a variety of foods. If you would like to participate in this program, please bring your Link2Feed number and bags/boxes to carry your items home in. If you are new to SnowCap, we will get you signed up onsite.

Community GardenLow income families can raise their own vegetables in raised beds full of good planting mix. Water, greenhouse space and gardening classes are provided. Gardeners give back by giving 10% of their harvest to the pantry.

Monthly Senior Home-DeliveriesWe're always looking for folks who would like to volunteer to deliver pre-packed food boxes and fresh produce to home-bound seniors once a month. Please contact Nate Larsen, Volunteer Coordinator, nate@snowcap.org for details!

Clothes for the Whole FamilyOur Clothing Program is open but only by appointment. To request a Clothing Program appointment, CLICK here. Once you complete the form, you will receive a text message with your appointment time and date. If you have any questions, please call 503-674-8785. You will be eligible to visit the Clothing Program once a month.

How often can I come to SnowCap?
You are welcome to come to SnowCap's Food Panty up to two (2) times a month through December, 2023. Check back on our website for any updates. Should you have any questions, please feel free to call our office at (503) 674 -8785.
Can I get help with diapers and formula? Yes.
We have formula available for babies 12 months and younger. Diapers are currently available in the baby's first two years of life at our Food Panty.
What do I need to bring to get assistance? If you are housed, please bring proof of address (POA) If you are unhoused, this is not required (mail addressed to you within the last 30 days). We do not request or require ID.
Can you help with rent, moving expenses and gas vouchers? No.
We do not have the budget for these expenses. Please call 211 at (503) 222-5555 for possible suggestions.
Can you help with prescriptions? Sometimes.
We have a very limited budget for prescriptions. Call our office for more information at (503) 674-8785.
Can you help me with utilities? Please visit www.snowcap.org/energy.
Limited funding is available during some months of the year, and this page will be updated.
I am looking for work; can you help with professional clothes (or any adult clothes)? Our Clothing closet is open by appointment only; you are welcome to request an appointment. To request an appointment click here.
